For the limited cases in which personal data reaches us (for example, an email you send us):

03 — We do not run servers that receive your data

CryptoMiao has no user accounts on our servers, no analytics, no advertising and no crash-reporting SDK. We do not receive, store or have access to:

• your profiles (name, surname, nickname, country, photo) and any fiscal details you enter;
• the wallet addresses you add;
• your exchange API keys and secrets;
• your transactions, balances, tax calculations and reports.

We never ask for private keys or seed phrases.

04 — Where your data is kept

• On your device: profiles, addresses, transactions and results are stored in the App's local storage, separately for each profile.
• API keys: stored in the iOS Keychain. If iCloud Keychain is enabled on your device, Apple synchronises them across your own devices end-to-end encrypted; we cannot read them.
• Face ID: handled entirely by iOS. The App only receives a yes/no result and never accesses biometric data.
• Camera and photos: used only if you choose to set a profile photo; the image stays on the device.
• Backups: created only when you export them, encrypted with AES-256-GCM; the key is derived from your passphrase with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 (600,000 iterations) and random values taken from the operating system. You decide where to save or share the file.
• API keys in a backup: by default they are not included — they stay in the Keychain. When exporting a profile you may explicitly choose to include them, so a restore brings the profile back complete. That file then contains credentials: anyone holding it can try passphrases on it without limit, so use a long passphrase, keep the file private, and prefer read-only keys.

05 — Third-party services contacted from your device

To read your data and value it, the App connects directly from your device to third-party services. Each of them receives only what it needs for the request and processes it under its own privacy policy:

Exchanges you connect

For example Kraken, Kraken Futures and Coinbase. They receive the read-only API key you created on their platform. Always create keys without trading or withdrawal permissions.

Blockchain data providers

They receive the public wallet addresses you ask the App to sync. For example: Etherscan (with your own key), Blockscout, Routescan, TronGrid, Solana, Sui, XRP Ledger, Blockstream and mempool.space, Litecoin Space, BlockCypher, Blockchair, Hyperliquid, Lido, and public blockchain nodes.

Market and reference data

Price and exchange-rate services — for example CoinGecko, CoinAPI (with your own key) and the European Central Bank — receive the names of assets and dates, not your identity or holdings.

Links to other apps

Shortcuts that open an exchange or wallet app, or its App Store page, hand you over to that app; the App sends it no data.

06 — Legal basis (GDPR)

Processing on your device and the requests to third-party services happen because you use the functions you ask for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you write to us, we process your message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

07 — Retention and deletion

Data on your device stays until you delete it. Inside the App you can delete a single exchange's data, reset all data of a profile, or delete a profile together with its data and keys. Uninstalling the App removes its local storage; keys synchronised by iCloud Keychain can be removed from iOS Settings. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer.

08 — Your rights

Under the GDPR and Italian law (D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended) you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing of any personal data we hold, and lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it). Since your App data is not held by us, you exercise control over it directly in the App.

09 — Security

Credentials are kept in the iOS Keychain and connections use HTTPS. No system is completely secure: protect your device with a passcode and use read-only keys.

10 — Minors

CryptoMiao is not directed at people under 18.

11 — Changes

We will publish any change on this page with a new date. If a change affects how data is handled, the App will say so before it applies.

03 — Nessun server che riceve i tuoi dati

CryptoMiao non ha account utente sui nostri server, analytics, pubblicità né SDK di crash reporting. Non riceviamo, non conserviamo e non abbiamo accesso a:

• i tuoi profili (nome, cognome, nickname, paese, foto) e i dati fiscali che inserisci;
• gli indirizzi dei wallet che aggiungi;
• le chiavi API e i secret dei tuoi exchange;
• transazioni, saldi, calcoli fiscali e report.

Non chiediamo mai chiavi private o seed phrase.

04 — Dove restano i tuoi dati

• Sul dispositivo: profili, indirizzi, transazioni e risultati sono salvati nella memoria locale dell'app, separati per profilo.
• Chiavi API: nel Portachiavi di iOS. Se il Portachiavi iCloud è attivo, Apple le sincronizza tra i tuoi dispositivi con cifratura end-to-end; noi non possiamo leggerle.
• Face ID: gestito interamente da iOS. L'app riceve solo l'esito e non accede ai dati biometrici.
• Fotocamera e foto: usate solo se scegli una foto profilo; l'immagine resta sul dispositivo.
• Backup: creati solo quando li esporti, cifrati con AES-256-GCM; la chiave deriva dalla tua passphrase con PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 (600.000 iterazioni) e valori casuali forniti dal sistema operativo. Decidi tu dove salvarli o condividerli.
• Chiavi API nel backup: per impostazione predefinita non sono incluse: restano nel Portachiavi. Esportando un profilo puoi scegliere esplicitamente di includerle, così un ripristino riporta il profilo completo. Quel file contiene allora credenziali: chi lo possiede può provare passphrase senza limiti, quindi usa una passphrase lunga, conserva il file in privato e preferisci chiavi in sola lettura.

05 — Servizi terzi contattati dal tuo dispositivo

Per leggere e valorizzare i tuoi dati l'app si collega direttamente dal tuo dispositivo a servizi terzi. Ciascuno riceve solo ciò che serve alla richiesta e lo tratta secondo la propria informativa:

Exchange che colleghi

Ad esempio Kraken, Kraken Futures e Coinbase. Ricevono la chiave API in sola lettura che hai creato sulla loro piattaforma. Crea sempre chiavi senza permessi di trading o prelievo.

Fornitori di dati blockchain

Ricevono gli indirizzi pubblici dei wallet che chiedi di sincronizzare. Ad esempio: Etherscan (con la tua chiave), Blockscout, Routescan, TronGrid, Solana, Sui, XRP Ledger, Blockstream e mempool.space, Litecoin Space, BlockCypher, Blockchair, Hyperliquid, Lido e nodi blockchain pubblici.

Prezzi e cambi

Servizi di prezzo e cambio — ad esempio CoinGecko, CoinAPI (con la tua chiave) e la Banca Centrale Europea — ricevono nomi degli asset e date, non la tua identità né le tue giacenze.

Collegamenti ad altre app

Le scorciatoie che aprono l'app di un exchange o di un wallet, o la sua pagina sull'App Store, ti portano a quell'app; CryptoMiao non le invia dati.

06 — Base giuridica (GDPR)

Il trattamento sul dispositivo e le richieste ai servizi terzi avvengono perché usi le funzioni che richiedi (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Se ci scrivi, trattiamo il messaggio per risponderti (art. 6.1.b e 6.1.f).

07 — Conservazione e cancellazione

I dati sul dispositivo restano finché non li cancelli. Nell'app puoi cancellare i dati di un singolo exchange, azzerare tutti i dati di un profilo o eliminare un profilo con i suoi dati e le sue chiavi. Disinstallando l'app si rimuove la sua memoria locale; le chiavi sincronizzate dal Portachiavi iCloud si rimuovono dalle Impostazioni di iOS. Le email che ci invii sono conservate solo il tempo necessario a rispondere.

08 — I tuoi diritti

Ai sensi del GDPR e del D.Lgs. 196/2003 e successive modifiche puoi chiedere accesso, rettifica, cancellazione, limitazione, portabilità e opporti al trattamento dei dati personali che deteniamo, e proporre reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it). I dati dell'app non sono in nostro possesso: li controlli direttamente dall'app.

09 — Sicurezza

Le credenziali sono conservate nel Portachiavi di iOS e le connessioni usano HTTPS. Nessun sistema è sicuro al 100%: proteggi il dispositivo con un codice e usa chiavi in sola lettura.

10 — Minori

CryptoMiao non è destinata a persone con meno di 18 anni.

11 — Modifiche

Pubblicheremo ogni modifica su questa pagina con una nuova data. Se cambia il modo in cui i dati sono trattati, l'app lo segnalerà prima che la modifica si applichi.
